Below is a list of common medication that we are able to administer at GOALS Clinic.

Please find your prescribed medication and please familiarise yourself with the risks and benefits of the medication prior to attending the clinic.

We are able to administer any intramuscular or intravenous medication available at a pharmacy via prescription. We are not able to administer vitamins or peptides at this time.

You will be asked to sign a consent including that you have read this information and had an opportunity to ask your doctor about the suitability of this medication for you.

Iron infusion: Monofer and Ferinject

Intravenous (IV) iron is administered to treat iron deficiency and/or iron deficiency anaemia, and where IV  iron is considered the most appropriate treatment for your clinical circumstances.

Intravenous fluids

Intravenous (IV) fluids are given for indications such as nausea and vomiting of pregnancy or when oral fluids are poorly tolerated. We have "normal saline" and Hartmans solution available in the clinic.

Intravenous Lipid Emulsion Therapy

Brand name: Intralipid

Intravenous lipid emulsion therapy prescribed for reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technology (ART)

Other medications

We are able to administer most prescribed subcutaneous medications, intramuscular medications or intravenous medications.

Anifrolumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody that blocks the Type I Interferon (IFN) receptor, helping reduce immune system activation associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

Eptinizumab

Brand name: Vyepti

Eptinezumab is a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibody used for the preventive treatment of migraine in adults.

Infliximab

Brand name: Remicade

Ocrelizumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets CD20-positive B lymphocytes, reducing inflammation and abnormal immune activity involved in Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Tocilizumab is a humanised monoclonal antibody that blocks the interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor, reducing inflammation associated with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Ustekinumab is a human monoclonal antibody that blocks Interleukin-12 (IL-12) and

Interleukin-23 (IL-23), reducing inflammation associated with autoimmune disease.

Vedolizumab is a gut-selective monoclonal antibody used to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
